Introducing new chemicals or processes
Before using a new chemical or process in the cleanroom, you must first fill out a so-called chemical risk assessment (kemisk arbejdspladsvurdering, APV), and have it approved by the cleanroom staff. A chemical risk assessment is a step-by-step description of the process and chemicals used, the hazards associated with them, necessary safety measures etc. The form can be found here: File:APV-Eng-Chemical risk assessment template.doc
]. When filling out the form, obtain information and seek advice from qualified colleagues about your process. You may also consult previously filled out chemical risk assessment forms. Once the form has been completed, email it to the cleanroom mailing list for approval. Only after the risk assessment has been approved, are you allowed to use the chemical or process in the cleanroom.
